SnelUBL automatically converts PDF, DOCX and image invoices into valid UBL files. This page shows how to convert your first invoice in a few minutes and when it makes sense to move to a paid, automated workflow.
Your first conversion in four steps
- Create an account - sign in with your email address. On first login, SnelUBL automatically creates a default organization for you; payment details are not needed for the first conversions.
- Upload an invoice - drop a PDF, DOCX or image file (PNG, JPEG, HEIF/HEIC or WebP) up to 3 MB into the upload area, or use Quick Mode for a one-off conversion.
- Review the result - the result viewer shows the recognized data next to the original; correct anything that needs attention before using the UBL file (see Result viewer and UBL review).
- Download or forward the UBL - download the file immediately, or set up a workflow so future invoices are delivered automatically to your accounting package, email or cloud storage.
The first 3 conversions are free
Every new account receives 3 free conversions without payment details. An organization is always required, but SnelUBL creates the default organization automatically at first login. This lets you test accuracy with your own invoices before choosing pay-as-you-go at EUR 0.35 per conversion.
One-off conversion or automation?
For a single invoice, Quick Mode is the fastest route: upload, review and download. If you regularly process invoices from the same suppliers, or want invoices to be processed automatically from email or a cloud folder, set up an organization and a workflow (see Managing workflows and Setting workflow destinations).
When to complete organization details
The default organization already exists after first login. During upgrade, SnelUBL asks you to check or complete that organization; you can also do this earlier in settings. After the first 3 free conversions, organization and payment details are required before continuing on pay-as-you-go. If you work for multiple clients or companies, for example as an accountant, create a separate organization for each client or company (see Settings and organizations).
